Hi

Is that in any way possible to set the detail section to a specific height and keep it even though there is not enough data in the child list to expand it?
I have a fix layout, where the detail section has to have a background company logo that has to be shown on all pages.

As of now, when the list in the detail section expands to a second page, and takes up only one row, the rest of the detail section on that page is blank, and no logo is shown.

Is there a way to overcome this behaviour? (Please don't say it's design behavior ;) )

Thanks.

I have been spending additional hours on this issue, without luck.

As shown on detail_p1.png when the list in the detail section has more items than can fit on one page, it starts a new page, but does not reach the end of that detail section. I have tried to place the 'Total' textboxes at the bottom of the detail section with anchoring set to bottom, and I got it to work ONCE! Then I changed something and never been able to reproduce it again.

I would like to ask for help, how to solve this issue, because I've spent already days on this report. The layout (size of detail section) has to be fix to accommodate the Logo.

Thank you in advance.

Hello Roland,

There is no out of the box solution for such requirement. As explained in your other forum thread "Gap whitespace between reportFooter and pageFooter", reports (and data items in general) are data driven and would only create as many details as the number of records. In other words, unless there are enough records so that the list item would grow, you would not be able to push it to the bottom or make it dock, so you can simulate fixed detail height.
