The issue seems to be related to the browser resolution. Try using an image with 96dpi resolution and sized to fit the report document dimensions. Also check if the browser is not magnified and try to reset it back to 100%.
I hope this helps you.

Also, I have tried on Firefox, Chrome and IE

The background image is probably set to the Report.Style.BackgroundImage property. Note that the report's style is applied only for the report area, which does not include the page sections.
To make the background image cover the whole page, move the background image to the Report.PageSettings.BackgroundImage property.
Let us know whether the proposed solution helps. If you need additional assistance please open a support thread and send us the problematic report and image to review on our end.

Hello,
I have same problem with report viewer. I have a report that contains a subreport in the detailPage with a background image (Report.Style.BackgroundImage). When the report viewer is diplayed, it seems all controls shrink to left and the background image keeps its size which generate a disalignment. But when i export the report to pdf, everything looks fine same as the designer view.
I attached three examples
1. using Report.PageSetting.BackgroundImage and Watermark for Subreport but doesnt display the image.
2. using Report.Style.BackgroundImage for subreport but there is disalignment
3. PDF example looks fine
Could you help me to solve the problem with this pls
Thanks
Hi Franz,
Since the PDF output appears normal, this is likely due to the differences between the Logical and Physical Page rendering behaviors. See the Understanding Rendering Behaviors for more information.
An alternative approach to the existing design is to use the framework provided Table/Crosstab component instead of a background image. This component is designed to work across the different renderers.
Please let me know if you need any additional information. Thank you for using the Telerik Reporting forums.
