I know the chart component can export to PDF and/or an Image, but it saves the files via a URL, I imagine for including it in other pages or reports... Instead, what I'd like to do is offer the user to export the current chart to an image (or PDF), but then push that resulting image via a download for the user to download onto their local computer.  Any advice on how to accomplish this?

Hi Joe,

I am glad you managed to find what you were looking for. The online demos, the documentation, and the forum are a great source of information where most of the use-cases have been covered.

To help others facing some scenario below I am posting the Chart export API where it is shown how to export charts to PDF, PNG Images, or SVG and save the produced files directly in the browser.

Regards,
Nikolay
