Export to regular text file

Is there anyway other then programming it my self to have the report viewer save my generated report to a text file instead of RTF or TIFF?

Hi Jerry,

Showing data from database into a text file can be achieved even without using our reporting solution. In this line of thoughts, can you elaborate why do you need to do that through a report? Currently you can use our rtf or csv available exporting formats for your needs.

I want to use reporting for mail-merge like generating email messages and need a text presentation and a html presentation.

is this possible with the current release ?

also currently looking for how to do this in code (get a string filled to create the email)
