If I export HTML the output isn't formatted in any way and therefore an "unreadable" long chunk of text. Is it possible to get a formatted output without having to write a format proc myself (or use an external proc)?

Hello Marcus,

Formatting the HTML in this way is not currently supported. All of the export settings available can be viewed here
Hope that helps

Hi Marc,

Thank you for writing.

You can export the visual setting from RadGridView by using the ExportVisualSettings property of the exporter. Furthermore, you can tweak the appearance by using the formatting events. More information regarding this matter can be found here: http://www.telerik.com/help/winforms/gridview-exporting-data-export-to-html.html.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions.

All the best,

Hi Stefan,

You're referring to a document for exporting from a RadGridView. I'm talking about export to formatted HTML from a RichTextBox.

Hello Marcus,

Indeed, the output produced by html export has some room for improvement, and currently there is no way to tweak this feature. We will consider this possibility in one of the next releases.
