I followed the wizzard and made no changes to the report layout besides what the wizzard did and when I export to Excel there are two extra blank rows between every row of data. What is causing this?
The report has a labels group header and detail...

Hello Mike,
We leave some space on top and on bottom of the items by design. You can easily remove it by zooming and making sure all items "fit" exactly to the details' section top and then squeeze its bottom to the items' bottoms.
As you know we are currently working on crosstab/table item and once it is ready, we would modify the report wizard to use table directly to avoid such inconsistencies.
Best wishes,

I have zoomed in to 400% and have tightened up my fields in the Details section to where it looks as tight as it can be and I'm still getting extra rows in Excel when I export. Is there another trick involved?

Also, there are many, many columns separating the data fields. How do I eliminate those?
