Hello Adit,

The layout seen in Print Preview of the report is the actual report paged based on the set PageSettings properties - Interactive vs. Print Layout. For more details please check Understanding Pagination (Paging and Keep Together).

In general, there is no auto-fit feature for the reports content. Sections will span in the space defined by the PageSettings' PaperSize, Margins and Landscape properties, depending on the rendering format specifics - Rendering and Paging (Rendering Behaviors). Adjusting the PageSettings will allow you to display the content on a single page or at least avoid the horizontal paging.

On printing you can use export into PDF. For PDF there is a Javascript device setting allowing you to inject functionality in the document, which will be interpreted by the PDF reader. You need to set the report's PageSettings to a custom page format and size the physical page to gather the reports content. And export the report with injected a Javascript as in this code library post, which will force the PDF reader displaying the produced file to open its Print Dialog. Then the user can select the Adobe Print Dialog's Fit option (if not selected), which will use the Adobe Reader's resizing capabilities to gather the document on a single page.

Let us know if you need any further help.

Stef
