Hi,

I am facing an issue when exporting radgridview data to an excel.
For example, if I have 7 columns in the radgridview in which the last column is hidden and
I try to export the rad grid data to excel.
I see only 6 columns i.e. the columns only which are visible in radgridview but
I want to export all the columns to the excel irrespective of their visibility in the grid.

Please let me know if there are any options to set to make the hidden columns visible
in export or is there any other approach?

Thanks in Advance

Hello ,

Indeed, by design if any of RadGridView`s columns is hidden it will not be exported. I suggest you making the specific columns visible before exporting the grid and eventually hiding them again right after the operation. I have prepared a sample project for your reference. Please review it and update me if there are any issues.

Hello,

The way of exporting hidden columns is still the same, make them visible and hide them after? Is there any option to export hidden columns just like in Winforms (https://docs.telerik.com/devtools/winforms/gridview/exporting-data/spread-export#properties) ?

Thanks.

Hello Euyen,

Currently we do not offer such an option out of the box, but you can open a new feature request in our feedback portal and if the demand for such functionality is high, we will consider implementing it in future releases.

For the time being, you can still use the workaround suggested by my colleague in the previous reply, should you find it applicable.
