Hi,
I've personalized the look and feel of a RadDropDownList control using the "Element hierarcy editor" form.
Is it possible to export that look as xml theme and reuse for other RadDropDownList in my application?
I've tried to use the Visual Style Builder tool, but is seems to cannot update properties after working for a while...
Thank you

Hello Giovanni,
Saving the changes is not available when using the element hierarchy editor at design time. In this case you should use the Visual Style Builder Tool. If you observed an issue when using it, please describe the exact steps to reproduce it. This will help us to locate the issue and to address it in one of our upcoming releases.
Still, the save option seems to be a reasonable feature and I logged your request in our issue tracking system. You can track its status by following this link. I updated also your Telerik points.
Should you have other questions, feel free to ask.
Regards,
Jack

Thank you,
I think the problem with Visual Style Builder is that when I modify a control I use a visual studio project to see the result (I think the preview in Visual Studuio Builder is not clear, cause the dark background...)
Maybe, after some execution Visual Studio keep looked the xml file and Visual Studio Builder cannot save it.
Thanks you anyway.

Hi Giovanni,
Thank you for this additional information. Yes, this could cause the issue. You can change the actual theme used in Visual Style Builder by following these steps:
1. Open the Visual Style Builder.
2. Select the View >> Theme option from the menu bar.
3. Select the desired theme.
I hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Jack
