Expanding 2 level hierarchy is slow

Hi,

expanding the second hierarchy becomes really slow if there are more than 500 items.

Sample is attached. If you expand the second Level ("Expand me!") on the left grid it takes 4-5 seconds to expand (for 1500 rows) if you do the same on the right side it is expanded instantaneously. Same data ... 

Is there any reason why it's so slow?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the issue, I cannot suggest a workaround. I have increased the priority of the issue.

thanks. I hope there is a fix or at least a workaround soon because currently it's a major problem for a current project (which already has a very small timeframe).

Hello Christian,

I have examined this again and it seems that the issue lays deep in our layout logic. This is why I am unable to sugest a workaround. I have alredy incresed the issue priority but I cannot enagage with a timeframe.
