Hello Masha,

Thank you for contacting us.

In the current implementation of the RadExpander the whole header part is realized as a toggle button. Because of this you can click on any point of the expander's header.

Please correct us if we missed something - just drop us a line.

We hope this information will help you.

Sincerely yours,
Ivan

Hello Ivan,
toggle button is working perfect,
but I need to change the style of this button, I need it to look like it's all over the header too.
And also I need my header to disappear when the expander is expanded,
I guess I need to set the height of the header to zero on expanded event, but how I can access the style of the header,
or there is a better way to do it.

Thank you

Another thing Ivan,
the example of from the previous post with header template is not working with my version.
RadExpander control does not have the HeaderControlTemplate property and

Telerik.Windows.Controls the namespace does not contain RadExpanderHeader type.
My version is 2009.3.1208.35, do I need version upgrade now?

Thank  you

Hi masha,

You have to update the new version of our controls, because the HeaderControlTemplate property  is available in the Q1 2010 release.

As to your first question, in order to change the style of the ToggleButton in the Expander control, you have to edit the control template in Blend. For more information you can follow the link below: http://www.telerik.com/help/wpf/common-styling-appearance-edit-control-templates-blend.html

If you have further questions please do not hesitate to ask us.

I hope this will help you.
