Hello Telerik team,

Not sure if this is possible using Telerik grid export.

I was able to export the data of a hierarchical grid having upto 3 levels of hierarchy using

ElementExported event.

But I want the expand collapse for different levels in the excel too.

Mausami

Hello Telerik team,

I see that a functionality for allowing hierarchical grid export being available in winforms.

http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/winforms/gridview/excel-export-for-hierarchial-data-in-the-radgridview.aspx#1611645

Wanted to know if something similar is available in WPF rad grid too.

Hello Mausami,

As I understand you would like to export the GridView hierarchy like an outlined (grouped) excel data.
Currently the RadGridView for WPF do not provide such an option for exporting with the +/- buttons.  You will need to provide your custom implementation to get this result.

Best wishes,
