I upgraded to Q2 yesterday and am getting a warning that the ExportToExcelML class is obsolete. The documentation for RadGridView has not been updated. Any news on what replaces the ExportToExcelML class?

Hello Joel Kraft,
Thank you for writing.
Actually, the class ExportToExcelML is not obsolete. There is a new constructor of ExportToExcelML class that takes a parameter of type RadGridView. You should not make an instance of ExportToExcelML class without specifying the grid which will be exported and the old constructor - without a parameter - is marked as obsolete. More info about exporting in Q2 2009 you can find in release notes.
Do not hesitate to contact me again if you have other questions.
Just a suggestion: had the developer taken the time to put a note to that effect in the [Obsolete()] flag, it would have saved us both some time.

Hi Joel Kraft,
Thank you for the suggestion. You are right and we will correct our omission for the next Service Pack release. Please, excuse us for the inconvenience.
