We heavily utilize charts similar to the demo at 2D Charts -> Combo Series (displaying some series with bars and others with lines on the same chart).
However, we almost always need a different scale for the line series. For example, the bars might show units on a scale of 0 - 1,000 while the lines show dollars on a scale of 0 - 100 million. We do this using two y axes (one on each end of the x axis) and display a vertical label against each axis indicating the units (e.g. "Units" on the left and "$ Millions" on the right).

Hello Gavin,
Thanks for the valuable feedback. Indeed, multiple Y axes is a great feature and it will definitely add value to RadChart. I have added it to our TODO list. Axis labels are already scheduled for implementation, so I can confirm that this feature will be implemented for the official release.
Your Telerik points have been updated. You will receive an e-mail with more details about our Early Adoption Program.

Is there an estimated time of arrival for this feature? We could really use it by the end of this month.
It can be done within Excel 2007 but with a lot of manual efforts, and for 150+ data series and 75+
dual Y-AXIS charts that is just not an option right now. Thanks.

Hello John,
Thanks for your interest.
Our efforts at the moment are focused on porting the RadChart control to Silverlight and unfortunately we do not believe it will be possible to add the multiple YAxis feature for the Q1 2009 official release (end of February). We will do our best to implement it for the Q2 release later this year.
All the best,
Manuel

Hi to all.
we are testing the Wpf RadControls before buy and for us it is really important to have dual (or more) y-axis feature on Chart control.
We don't see so many improvemnts about the Chart component on the Q2 roadmap.
So what about two y-axis support? will it be included on the upcoming Q2 2009 release?
Thanks.
Diego

Hi Diego,
Unfortunately the Q2 2009 version of RadChart will not feature secondary YAxis support.
That said, we are actively adding improvements to the chart control at the moment -- for Q2 we will be introducing strict mode support (the control will respect the XValues passed as data), categorical axis support, LabelStep functionality, and rotated labels for the horizontal axis. We will definitely consider the implementation of the mutliple axes feature for Q3 but we cannot commit a promise right now as we have not finalized the planning for the next release yet.

Hi Manuel ,
Unfortunately we have to release a new application with a dual y-axies chart so right now we are moving to another solution just for this project.
When are you aspecting to terminate the planning phase for the Q3 release? It is just really important for us to know when it will be possible to have this feature on the Telerik Chart Wpf component. Our project manager just would like to have only one library for all components we need.
Really thanks.

Hi Diego,
We can confirm now that the dual-YAxis feature is planned as one of our priority tasks for the Q3 release and it will be available with the next major release later this year.

Excellent, I am also after the dual Y axis and I suspect many other people would be as well.

When are we going to have a dual X-Axis? Is there any way to hack one in?

Hello Travis,
Presently, we have no immediate plans to include a secondary X axis for the control.
