Hi,

I seem to be having an issue with the maximize fullscreen of a RadForm and dual monitors.

I have two monitors with the resolutions of 1050x1680 and 1280x1024.

When I set the form to maximized on the first monitor it is fine. But when I try to maximize the RadForm on the second monitor it will stretch across both monitors and not draw the controls on the form correctly.

I have to right click on the task bar and select restore to get the window back. But even then the controls are not redrawn. Only after I resize the form by the grip bar do the controls repaint.

Is this a known issue?

On a different subject is there a way to search other peoples support tickets?
I generally use the forums to search for the issue I am having and if I can't find anything in the forums then I will post on the forum and may send a support ticket too if I need an urgent solution.

But most of the time I think I may have posted the same query as someone else sending a support ticket. If there was a way to search a knowledge base of support tickets that have been resolved it may reduce the amount of support tickets you need to answer.

Thank you

Adrian

Hello Adrian Halid,

Thank you for your questions.

I confirm that there is an issue with maximizing RadForm on the second monitor of a dual monitor system. I have logged this in our todo list and we will try to fix this in the upcoming release in a couple of weeks. The points of your account have been updated.

As we come to the question about our resource search capabilities, you cannot search through other customer support resources. Support tickets may contain business sensitive information, and it is our company policy to treat all information as confidential and not to disclose any details about the problems other customers experience.

I do believe, however, that you are talking about some type of a public issue tracker, but not connected to a particular person. We are working on a public issue tracking system and it will be available on our site in a couple of months.

We currently compile the most problematic and popular cases in our Knowledge Base (KB). The KB consists of how-to topics, general .net topics, and seldom contain information about bugs or workarounds of problems related to RadControls. The Forums are another important source of information, as you have noticed.

Currently, you can use the search capabilities of our site to search all public resources, like the online documentation, Knowledge Base sections, Support Forums and other site content.

Kind regards,
Angel
