DropDown not scrolled to selected item when first time opened after refresh on ipad

I'm using normal drop down, with external data source, I'm selecting item using select method.
Item is properly selected on all browsers I've checked, however on mobile ones drop down is not scrolled to that selected item. On desktop browsers it is scrolled properly, on mobile not, I need to scroll to the bottom to see selected item.

I am afraid that this is currently not supported because on mobile browsers the mobile scroller is used. We have logged this issue in our system and will investigate if there is a feasible way to enable this behavior for mobile browsers as well.

I am having the same isue on an ipad. The dropdown list is not scrolled to the selected item when I use the select method. Is there a solution to this problem right now or is it still under investigation?
