Hello,
I am new to telerik reporting. Is it possible to present the data in drill down manner in the form of table/grid
I have gone through the samples, but I found only using the Chart control present in the RadControls for ASP.Net AJAX.
I mean do we have to only use chart controls or grid controls from ASP.Net ajax.
Any sample pls.
Thank you

Hello Pams,

Native drill-down is currently not supported (see Known limitations of Telerik Reporting), but it is in our plans for the upcoming Q3 release. For the time being if you need to present hierarchical data, you can use the Table and/or SubReport items which are separate data regions. Check out the Creating Master-Detail Reports Using SubReports help article and our Invoice demo report.

Hello Pams,

We are happy to announce that Reporting Q3 2010 offers drill down interactive functionality for all report items, but charting (a workaround for charting is posted here). Q3 2010 was released yesterday.

Review What's New in Q3 2010 Reporting and check the more technical Q3 release notes.

The Q3 version with drill down reporting is available for download in your account.

Enjoy and send us your feedback!

Sincerely yours,
