Drawer animation flickers after upgrading to 2014.1.318

Hi,

Since upgrading to the 2014.1.318 build from the 2013.3.1324 build, when I click on a view link in my drawer, I am noticing a skip or flicker as the drawer closes and view is displayed. It is driving me crazy trying to figure out what is causing this.

I am viewing my test page on mobile safari on the iPhone simulator as well as iPhone5. Has anyone else noticed it as well?

Hi Kelvin,

I checked your project and indeed observed the flickering that you are describing. I have used your code and tried to isolate the same issue in this jsBin, but to no avail:

I did not change anything in your code (just loading the scripts from a CDN) and was not able to see the same issue. Can you please tell me what I am missing?

Hi Kiril,

Thanks for looking into this behavior. I tried the jsbin link on my iPhone simulator and see the skip in animation. The code looks just like what I have and I tried linking to http://cdn.kendostatic.com and still experience it. I was using jquery v2.0.3 but tried using v1.9.1 and same problem.

I have managed to reproduce the issue that you are describing. It happens when the previous closing animation was not fully completed. I have forwarded this to the people responsible for this issue, so they will take a deeper look.

The problem should be resolved with the latest Kendo UI release. If you still have the issue with the latest release, please extract a runnable sample that we can look at and attach it to a separate support request and we will be happy to take a look.
