Hello.

I have a treeview like this:
A
    A1
    A2
    A3
B
    B1
    ...

Now I want to drag A2 before A1 but unfortunately I am not able to use drag & drop inside the same hierarchy level?!?!?
I always get that little red sign indicating that it is not allowed to drop something at this location. On the other hand I am able to drag B1 below A. I don't want this but that's a different story... :)  If I understood it right it should be possible by default to move all the elements around as one like to... Has anyone experienced the same problem? How can that happen? I am using the latest version of the RadTreeView.

Any help?
Thanks a lot!!!
Tim.

I think I got the problem identified: ElementHost!
I've created a little solution with a library containing the TreeView, a WPF app using this library and a WinForm app using this library.
Within the WPF app I can drag and drop as it is expected but in the WinForms app I get the described problem...

Any workaround? Is it not possible to use drag and drop within an ElementHost?
Any help appreciated!
Thanks, Tim.

Hello Tim Tos,

This is a known issue in the RadTreeView control in this scenario. It is logged in our PITS where you can track its progress and vote for it thus increasing its priority.

Unfortunately I am not aware of any workarounds at the moment. I hope this is not a showstopper for you.

All the best,
