[Solved] Does the new version 2914.1.318 support server group?

I would like to use the server grouping feature for my project. I found an example in JSFiddle:  http://jsfiddle.net/keithnolan/yrk9G/1/.

It works properly with the original Kendo version, http://cdn.kendostatic.com/2011.3.1407/js/kendo.all.min.js, but it doesn't work if I change the JSFiddle External Resource pointing to the latest Kendo, http://cdn.kendostatic.com/2014.1.318/js/kendo.all.min.js.

If I use the old kendo version, the kendo muliselect and some other features won't work. 

Could anybody give me a hint if I missed anything?

Hello Jerry,

 

In the example that you provided serverGrouping is set, but there is no server implementation handling the grouping, so I am not really sure what exactly do you mean. I would suggest you to check the following documentation that explains how serverGrouping works:
