Hi

I've used your jQuery version of the Scheduler in an MVC app where I utilised a feature where you can drag and drop from a list view to the scheduler to create events.

Is this functionality available in the Angular version of the component? If there is could you supply a link to a sample implementation.

Also is the a way to create bespoke views again similar to the feature in jQuery version of the scheduler component. e.g. I would like to create a rolling week view (where the view starts at today -1 and ends after a specified number of days) and a rolling work week which is similar but skips weekends)

Many Thanks

Hi,

In short, the requested functionalities are not supported so far but are tracked in our Feedback Portal.

1. Creating events by drag and drop from ListView.

Indeed the Kendo UI for Angular Scheduler allows editing existing events by using drag and drop. However, it doesn't provide a built-in way to create events by dragging and dropping elements from another component. There is a similar feature request in our Feedback Portal here:

https://feedback.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/1457317-create-events-using-drag-and-drop-from-another-component

Please cast your vote. We monitor all feature requests and prioritize them based on several factors where the number of votes is one of them.

2. Custom Scheduler view

Setting the start and end date of the view is not supported, but is already tracked in the Feedback Portal:

Regarding point 1.

Is there a chance it will be introduced or is it completely abandoned?

If it has been abandoned, do you know work arround how to implement this drag and drop feature from another component?

Hi Damian,

Valid feature requests gets declined due to low interest. However, if it turns out to be popular in the future (as in this case), they've been reopened back.

The status of the feature is changed now.
