Hello Kiran,

Localization for the Silverlight report viewer has been introduced in the Q1 2012 release and you would need to upgrade should you need this functionality. More information about the localization can be found in the following article: Report Viewer Localization.

Dear Steve,
I have tried upgrading a sample project from  Q2 2011 to  Q1 2012 and tried to for localization as mentioned in the article: Report Viewer Localization. but it fails.

  I have passed the culture information as initial parameters
<param name="culture" value="ar-SA" />
              <param name="uiculture" value="ar-SA" />

Please find attached sample Project  for your reference.

Thanks,
Kiran

Hello Kiran,

The template of the Silverlight report viewer is contained within the RadControls for Silverlight assemblies i.e. you should update all assemblies that the viewer needs to the Q1 2012 version:

  • Telerik.ReportViewer.Silverlight.dll
  • Telerik.Windows.Controls.dll
  • Telerik.Windows.Controls.Input.dll
  • Telerik.Windows.Controls.Navigation.dll
  • any theme assembly (OfficeBlue in your case)
After updating your sample project it worked as expected (see attached screenshot).

All the best,
Steve

Hi Kiran,

Your account does not contain a purchase, nor is it added as a developer license to a purchase, so it would be best if you contact our friendly sales department with information about the purchase account and they would advise you accordingly.
