Using the trial and exploring options - does utilizing a signalr data source support grid server-side grouping (serverGrouping = true), possibly using DataSourceRequest?

Hello Christopher,

While initial grouping of the data via the dataSource.group option, and serverGrouping = true (if the server is configured to properly return the grouped data), is possible, there is no way grouping, performed by the user via the UI on the client (by dragging a column to the toolbar), to be broadcasted, and made available to the other connected users.

If I am missing something, please describe the scenario, and the desired functionality in further details, so I can try to provide more to-the-point information.

Thanks Dimiter, that's exactly what I wanted to know (that an individual user can server group OK).

The sharing/broadcasting of grouping isn't a use-case for us, but thanks for mentioning it.
