Hello,

I use the DocxFormatProvider class to show the MS Word document in my Silverlight Project.
Screenshot of this document is attached as "msword_doc.jpg".
But the formatting is incorrect when I see this document on my Siverlight page - screenshot is attached as "silverlight_doc.jpg"

Is there any idea to prevent incorrect formatting?

Thank you.

PS. forum's file extension limitation is the reason why I can't attach original .docx file...

Hello Ott,

As far as I can see, you have a so-called TOC (Table Of Contents) inside your Word file, and unfortunately, we still don't have support for this functionality. These features are in our to-do list, however as the schedule for Q3 is pretty much overflowing, I can't give you any specific details about when this will be available.
Don't hesitate to contact us if we can be of any further assistance.

Best wishes,

Ivailo, I also work on this project.  I just wanted to say more specifically, the formatting has to do with the "tab leader" feature of MS Word.  (it can be accessed under the Paragraph|Tabs option in MS Word).  Screen shot attached.  Additionally, in addition to the "leader", it also  appears as if the "tab stops" aren't working?  If you look at Andrey's screen shot 'msword-doc.jpg' you will notice that there are several "tab stops" at the top of the screen shot.  It appears as if the Silverlight Control does not recognize this either.

Thanks!

Hello Mike Hawbecker,

As the RadRichTextBox is a very new control, since just 2010 Q2, so is the RadDocument, therefore they still aren't developed to their full potential and more advanced features, as the leader and tab stops still aren't present in the document model. This said, we still can't add support for such features being imported from docx, or any other format in this sense. All this functionality is definitely in our roadmap, however features with much greater impact like tables flow-around images are at the top, since they are much widely used. We are doing our best in order to get sooner to what you're talking about. However, the to-do list for Q3 is pretty much full, so I can't give you any more details.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Kind regards,
Ivailo
