Disable TreeView Selection

is it possible to select a node by the user to be prevented?

Hi Alexander,

You can prevent the selection in Kendo UI TreeView by calling the preventDefault() method. I.e.: 

$("#treeview").kendoTreeView({
  //....
  select: preventSelection
});

function preventSelection(e){
   if(//your logic){
      e.preventDefault();
   }
}
