Hi,
If the dropdown of a radcombobox is displayed, when the user press the backspace key the dropdown is closed.
How I can disable/override this behavior? I want the dropdown to remain visible .

Hi Lighthouse Developer,
Thank you for writing.
This behavior is by design and lies deep in control's internal implementation and may not be extended by derived classes.
I am happy to inform you that we have created two brand new controls, meant to supersede RadListBox and RadComboBox respectively. I am speaking about RadListControl and RadDropDownList which eliminate all design and implementation flaws of their predecessors plus are extremely fast and memory optimized. More information about these two guys you may find on this blog post. They will be officially released in the upcoming Q2 2010 release which is expected within approximately two weeks.
