Scenario:
I have to build a report where there are two different data sources and some calculations have to be performed in the report.

Problem:
I see only one datasource in one report.

Question:
Am I missing something or this is a short coming in the reporting tool? How can I add two datasources and computed fields in the report?

Thank you.

Hi Zeya Bakhtyar,

A report can be bound to a single data source only. In order to use 2 or more data sources in a single report you can take advantage of the SubReport  item and place as many of them as is the number of the data sources. Each report used as a sub report will correspond to one data source. Another way of utilizing multiple data sources is to use a data item: Table/Crosstab/List. Each data item corresponds a separate data region. The last approach is to use a ReportBook by adding different reports to it.

How to create and use calculated fields is explained in the Calculated Fields help article.
