Hello,
On the RadSpreadsheet whenever I press the decimal key the default decimal separator apears selected. So whatever I press after that overwrites it unless I unselect it first. This doesn't happen if I press the respective keyboard key (next to the letters). This happens on all the spreadsheet demos and my application. This still happens if I change my default decimal separator.
The PreviewKeyDownEvent is called when the pressed key is Key.Decimal, but the KeyDownEvent is not called.
My telerik version is 2015.2.728.40

Any idea as to why this happens or how to fix it?
Thanks,
Felipe
Thank you for contacting us.
I think I have a hard time to understand your exact scenario. For this reason, I will ask you to send us a video with exact steps to reproduce. Since you mentioned that it is also reproducible with our demos for RadSpreadsheet, please try to use some of them for the video. Also have in mind that a screencast sometimes may reveal details that are not mentioned. A good free tool for this is Jing. Once we reproduce the issue we will do our best to assist you.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have this same issue. If press the period key on the Text keyboard next to the ? key then I get a decimal. If I push the Number pad decimal/Del key then the decimal is selected and will be overwritten with the next number I type. EX. 123.45 would end up 12345. cause the 4 overwrites the weirdly selected decimal point. Attached is a image of what it does when I hit the number pad "."
As you can see the period from the number pad is selected. I cant think for the life of me a test case where I would want this functionality... So I would consider it to be a bug.
Thank you for the additional information, Matt.
I was able to reproduce the issue on our end. The good news is that the problem is easy for fixing. The fix will be available in the next LIB and of course, in our next official release (2016 Q2), which is expected in the beginning of May. You could download and test it from your account.
