Hi all,
When I use a comboboxColumn, it opens when I hit the F4. The DateTimeColumn doesn't, but I think it should follow the same behavior as a regular combo. This is hard to explain to a user...

Martin

Hi Martin,

Thank you for writing.

I can confirm that GridViewDateTimeColumn does not behave correctly in this case.  I have added this as a bug report to our Public Issue Tracking System. Feel free to add your vote for it here: http://www.telerik.com/support/pits.aspx#/public/winforms/13641

However, I can provide you with a valid work around. Find attached a sample demo application.

I have updated your Telerik Points for this report.

I hope that you find this information useful. Please excuse us for the introduced inconvenience.

Greetings,

Hi Plamen,
Thanks, I did code it manually already. I also want to point out that the same applies to the regular radDateTimePicker (outside the grid).

Hello Martin,

That is correct, the issue comes from RadDateTimePicker element so addressing it there will address it all over.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.

Hi Plamen,
I found another problem in the DateTimePicker. The ValueChanged event gets triggered when I simply tab through the control, without changing any value.

Hi Martin,

I have tested the described approach, however, I was not able to reproduce this behavior on my end with RadDateTimePicker. I would suggest that you open a new support ticket with a sample project demonstrating this issue, so we can investigate it and provide you with adequate support.

Furthermore, mixing different subjects in the same thread is not recommended. Please refer to p. 4 from our forum guidelines: http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/winforms/gridview/important-information-on-using-the-telerik-forums.aspx.
