The described behavior seems rather strange, however, based on the available information it would be hard to pinpoint what is causing it.
Nevertheless, please ensure that the Kendo JavaScript files are referenced only once on the page. Also, their version should correspond to the version of Kendo.Mvc.dll.
In case the behavior persists please send us a runnable sample where it is replicated. This will enable us to examine the issue and look for its cause.
