We were able to reproduce the depicted issue. The problem is already addressed and the fix will be included in the next internal build of KendoUI. I updated your Telerik points because of the bug report.

I am having the same issue. In IE 7 or running IE 9 in compatibility mode is showing the calendar but doesn't select the date or highlight the date.

I am running Nov 2012 release. Please let me know the fix.

I could not reproduce the issue locally using IE7. Check this screencast and let me know if I am missing something.

Not sure about IE7, 8 or 9 but the DatePicker and the DateTimePicker do not work in IE10 nor IE11.

I've tried Windows 8 (64 bit) with IE10, and a non-developers computer Windows 7 (32-bit) with IE11.  Same case on each.  The datepicker and datetime picker are non-functional.

I tried to replicate the problem, but the widgets worked as expected. Here is a screencast of my test.
As a side note I will suggest you continue our discussion in the support thread opened on the same subject. Thus we will avoid any duplications. Thank you for the understanding.
