Date Time formatting issue on grouped column

When I group a grid column that is a date time, the grouped data appears above the column data which is fine, however the formatting of the date is different. Is there a way to get them to either be the same or apply a different date time format?

I tried to replicate the issue faced by you, however the grouped data format for the date and time is the same as defined in the columns.format.

Please take a look at this Dojo sample where the title of the grouped data of the date and time is in the same format as the column data.

Could you please update the Dojo sample with the relevant code such that it replicates the issue? I will investigate further.

Hi Hetali,

Thanks for the reply and the Dojo. It helped as it got me thinking about the Date object. We build our columns and data dynamically via an api so it is a string that gets bound. Turns out we use two strings, a formatted date string "10/05/2019 20:10:45" and unformatted "10-05-2019T20:10:45", it was displaying the formatted in the column and unformatted in the header when grouping. So I just need the fix the back end now to get the two the same.
