Is it possible to enter the date without having to type the century?  It seems that 1/1/16 is not valid, you have to enter 1/1/2016.  Most of the time the century is the current one.  In fact not entering the year at all would be even better, so that the year defaults to this year.  Either of these things possible?

Thanks

Hello Scott,

Thank you for contacting Telerik Support.

In order to achieve the desired functionality, you should add a Custom Editor Template to your Grid, where you can define a DatePicker editor. In this picker, you can define a format and a parse format.

The parse format will suite you in achieving the desired functionality, as demonstrated in the following online example:

http://dojo.telerik.com/ApaGo

For example, you can type the day and month and the Year will be automatically filled.

Hope this information helps.
