Is there a way to apply databinding to an RadElement property, rather than to a control ?
Like Binding to RadTextBoxElement.Text
Do I necessarily have to create a property in the control to map to the element property ?
The Element hierarchy Editor seems to offer DataBinding for some tags, but I was unable to enter anything there.

If I have correctly understood your case, you want to bind a property to the RadElement property of the control. Correct me if I am in the wrong dirrection. Is there a particular requirement for that in your application? May I ask you to share more details regarding your scenario so I can better understand it and provide a suitable solution?
