Cyrillic characters displaying as question marks

One of our customers is trying to create a message using Cyrillic characters but each character is displaying as a question mark. What do we need to do to support this?

Hello Dominic,

Could you tell us how to replicate this? I am not able to reproduce such behavior in the online demos. 

Did you use some different font for the editor, also what does the value method of the editor return? Is the text again filled with question marks?

If you reproduce this into a fiddle we will be glad to search for a solution.
