Hi,

Using Q3 2009 SP1 version of your control.  I would like to add a screen tip to a multi-column combo box .  I would howver like to customize the contents of the screen tip and I am not able to add or remove elements in the designer.  I am wondering if I'm 'doing it wrong'.
Additionally could you point me to some documentation that outlines how to do this.

Hi Carol Watson,

Currently, adding and removing elements at design-time is not supported. However, you can customize a screentip programmatically. This approach is demonstrated in our Examples application, section GridView >> ScreenTips. In order to subscribe to the ScreenTipNeeded of the RadGridView instance that is hosted in the dropdown of RadMultiColumnComboBox, you can use the EditorControl property.

If you have additional questions, feel free to contact me.
