Hi,

GridViewColumn's Header is an object and you can place any control to be displayed as a header. Please refer to the Column Headers documentation for further information. You can also check Column Groups/Merged column headers.

In order to specify columns in ViewModel and have them populated in RadGridView, you can check the "Binding Columns From ViewModel" sdk example. Although GitHub is a very well-known platform we saw a better and easier approach for reviewing our examples by developing our SDK Samples Browser.
