Crystal Report to Telerik Report Conversion - Parameters are not preserved

Hi All : 

I am working with Crystal Report to Telerik Report conversion. After I have generated a target trdp file, I found that the parameters in crystal report is not installed to the target report.

I have to manually install the parameters back to the

The target report :  (No parameter can be found in Report Explorer, I have to install the parameter to make the start the preview(

 

 

My Question is : Do I have to manually install the parameter to the target Telerik report after running the conversion tools?

After converting a Crystal Report to a Telerik Report (TRDP file) using the conversion tools, parameters from the original Crystal Report are not always transferred automatically to the converted Telerik report. This is a known limitation of the conversion process, particularly when reports include custom parameter logic or more complex parameter configurations.

Yes, you need to manually add the report parameters in the Telerik Report after conversion. Parameters will not appear automatically in the Report Explorer of the Standalone Report Designer or Web Report Designer after conversion.

If you need to automate this process for multiple reports, consider using custom scripts or tools to assist with parameter migration, but manual adjustment is generally required for accuracy.
