Hey,

I am having performance issues with our reports and I am not sure where to look next.

I have cached the calls using :

http://www.telerik.com/help/reporting/configuring-telerik-reporting-database-session-state-provider.html

This has helped a lot on the initial pull of the data but now has dramatically increased the rendering when expanding a group.  It used to be about 1 second and now is 30 seconds.

Thanks,

Robert

Hello Robert,

When you switch from memory to database cache provider, there may be some slow down caused by the communication with the database. The performance depends also on the amount of used data and items, as the items state is preserved between clicks on the collapse/expand marks.

It would be better if you can open a support ticket and send us a runnable sample project illustrating your issue. Include any test data that may be required tun the example.

Regards,
Stef
