1) I start dragging a connection from a node's connector. ConnectionManipulationStarted is correctly called.
2) I release the mouse outside the diagram window.
3) I then click inside the diagram window. ConnectionManipulationStarted is called again!
Clearly, this is a bug. You should capture the mouse during dragging operations. Not sure how I can work around this issue. As it is now, I end up with an orphaned connection...

Thank you for reporting this issue. I am glad to tell you that we've included a fix for this scenario in the Beta that was recently released. For your convenience I attached a sample project referencing Telerik assemblies from Q2 2013 Beta version so that you can locally test the behavior of RadDiagram. Please let us know if the solution works for you or if you have any additional feedback on the matter.
