You guys surely know about the WebResource attribute in ASP.NET 2.0 - you can package external resource (like you Skin files - css and images or your Javascript files in your DLL assembly - this may cure the need for ~/RadControls folder.

Deploying the ~RadControls folder for all controls and keeping it in sync with the last hotfix is a tedious job, I'd love to have this cured.

What do you guys think about that (all developers using telerik controls, not only telerik offciails).

Is there a function that can be used to get the name of a Javascript variable? Look at the example below. Is there a function like "GetVarName"? alert(GetVarName(tt)) sould alert the text "myText" ...

I'd like to see one more category called "technical suggestions" where we can suggest and talk about various technologies that we'd like to see telerik incorporate into their products...

For example, I'd love to see telerik move their js libraries into dot net binary "webresource" files (DLLs) to help keep deployment easy... that way revision changes could be managed very easily by simply giving each webresource file a unique name corresponding to its revision number!

Anyway, please create a new category for other such kinds of comments.

First of thanks for alphabetizing your product lists in the forums and downloads, it's a big help.  One question on how you name you releases, why is Q1 coming out in March?  Why not make the Q_ the first month of the quarter vice the last so that the second and third month of the quarter become the SP months for that quarter.  Ex January becomes Q1 Release, February Q1 SP1, March Q1 SP2, April starts over with Q2.

Obviously it's not a big deal but I think it seems to make more sense.

I think it's very good if you can make title of pages more specified to content of post (i think title of post is good) becuase when we save any page from forum file name take this name

This may not be something many customers might find useful, but I am currently doing some custom Web Part development in Sharepoint Portal Server 2003 and was wondering if anyone might find the information useful--I could post some examples of how I integrated r.a.d controls in Sharepoint, such as r.a.d. editor, r.a.d. treeview, r.a.d. menu, and r.a.d. grid (I may be working with some additional controls soon).

If anyone has any interested in this information let me know and I will gladly adapt some examples to post--with Telerik's permission, of course ;-)
