I have a list view, with a combo box templated for an add action. When I add the item, then make a selection in the combo box, the selected animation jumps to the top of the browser window. Made a quick video here.

First of all let me apologize for the late reply.
I am afraid that the provided information is not sufficient enough in order to determine what exactly causes the problem you encountered. I tried to reproduce the same behaviour in the on-line demos but to no avail.
The code which you provided in your support ticket is not runnable and contains a lot of additional logic to which I have no knowledge about. Is it possible for you to isolate the issue in a sample page that uses only jQuery, Kendo UI and the required HTML elements? In this way I will be able to run your sample locally, examine what is going wrong and provide you with a concrete recommendations.
