columnResize event in TreeList

I have noticed that Grid supports the event columnResize but the TreeList does not. Is this a bug or a missing feature and would this be fixed/implemented?

columnResize event was recently introduced with Q1 2015 SP1 release.

Would this even be implemented also for TreeList soon or I should think about a work-around, because at the moment in my implementation I have a button that switches from Grid to TreeView and if the user resizes the column in Grid mode I can save the new sizes but if the user does this in TreeList view I cannot save the new size.
