I get an error deploying to the client when a grid has more than 10 columns
xml parser problem i think
works on clients machine when I reduce the columns to less than 10.
Works fine on my dev machine..

Can you post the exception stack trace? Any more info can help us to identify the problem.

I'm not sure how to get the stack trace on the client machine. There is a windows error report (it's 500 miles long) is that what you need?
