I recently switched from textarea/iframe based classic mode to div based inline mode which works fine except that the toolbar is only blended in when one is typing. Is there a way to have the fixed/permanently visible toolbar and the general look and feel of classic mode in inline mode also?

Hello Dimitar,
thank you very much for your answer. I already know this article, but the result is not what I am looking for. As I wrote, I want the *same* look and feel as with the classic mode. The code you mentioned just leaves the inline mode toolbar popup open which leads to several problems:
- The toolbar hovers over and eclipses other elements of my GUI.
- It is not connected to the text editors body (by a wide gap). And even if it would, the rounded corners wouldn't match.
- It throws a shadow.
- It is still movable and detaches.
I am not sure why Telerik decided to give both modes a total different look and handling, but I hope there is a way to classic GUI with inline mode.

I cannot tell why the toolbars of the two modes are different, this difference is by design. It is not possible to achieve out of the box the classic toolbar look and feel when using Inline mode. The following feature request item may be helpful to you as it provides a Dojo snippet, showing how the toolbar may be scrolled with the Inline Editor.
