Hi,
I have a chart with two series, one is Area and another is Column
I need to display Area series in front of Columns, is it possible to configure chart this way?

Thanks,
Michail Knyrevich.

Hi Michail,

Generally speaking the order to of the series depends on their definition order, however  the area series cannot be plotted over the columns. The reason for such behavior is that if the area series are in front of the column series you would not be able to reach the column series (for example to show a tooltip, fire seriesHover, seriesClick etc. for the columns).

Thank you for response.

Well this works both ways. When column is in the front it could hide peak of the area chart, so user cant determine its value via tooltip.

I think it is better to let developer choose the order of displaying.
But it is up to you. Still Kendo UI rocks :-)

Best regards,
Michail Knyrevich.
