Chart Report Won't Generate

I have created a Pie Chart in Report Designer, which has come out as expected. But when I try to preview the chart it doesn't get past the 'generating report' load

Hello akin,

Check if the Report.DataSource property is set for the report containing the Pie Chart. If it is, set it to none and then try to preview the report again.

Hi Nasko, thanks for your reply.

Setting the DataSource to none does work but that means I can't set a date filter through report parameters. Is there any workaround to this? Thanks

Hello akin,

You can configure the filtering for the Graph item which has a data source assigned to it.
