I have a report that has a Table on the left and a Chart on the right.

The Table can grow to any size, which makes the report grow.

So I have tried Anchoring or Docking the Chart to the top and bottom of the report so that it grows as well.

It does grow, but the chart is stretched. It doesn't re-render/re-layout to the new size.

How can I get it to do this?

Using Telerik Reporting 2011 Q3.

Thanks.

Hi Adrian,

Dock/Anchor are taken into account later in the report life cycle, when the chart image has already been generated and that is why you observe this behavior. We cannot offer a workaround, but would have this in mind for subsequent versions.

Sorry for the temporary inconvenience.

Thanks it would be a useful feature given it is a common report layout to put a chart next to a table. You want to maximise the size of the chart even if your table only grows another 100pixels. I'm sure I could execute the datasource and calculate the height of the table before the chart renders but it is just not as nice. Cheers.
