We need to change the appointment height per appointment in the RadScheduleView timeline view. Since we have multiple appointment types

with different information (amount of information), we need to change the size. We don't want scrollable content.

So my plan was to set the MinAppointmentHeight to the smallest appointment and than scale them. But if I set the MinAppointmentHeight,

all appointments just have the same size. Event if we change it in the style.

Thanks a lot!

Hello Benedikt,

Achieving the described scenario is not supported in the current version of RadScheduleView. By design in the TimelineView, it is not possible to have an appointment with different fixed heights because the Height of each appointment is calculated in the code. This feature request is logged in our Feedback Portal where you can track its progress and vote for its implementation. By voting, you are increasing its priority.

At this moment only MontViewDefinition provides this functionality. You can read more about this in the Set Custom Appointment Height help article in our documentation.

Is there anything we can do about this in templating or calculating the height on our own? Because increasing the height dynamically or setting a height per appointment type is very important for us.

Hello Benedikt,

Unfortunately, no viable solution comes to my mind in order to achieve the desired functionality. All that I can suggest is to stay tuned for any updates on the feature request we've already opened by subscribing to it. I've gone ahead and raised its priority in our backlog as I can see it is important for you, but I'm afraid I cannot commit to a certain time frame for its implementation.
