    Hello,

I am evaluating telerik report server to find out if it feed our need. I have few questions:

    1. We'd like to use another method to pre-generate the report, then use  telerik report server to send them out. Can telerik report server read from an file repository attache related report and attache it then send to related customers?

    2. We have MSSQL database stored our customer informations, can  telerik report server connect to our database read customer information from the table, then use customer ID to find the associated report?

    3. Can telerik report server call an rul which genenrate the pdf report, then it can download the pdf file and send it out?

    Thank you!

    Hello Gracie,

    In regards to your questions:

1 and 3. You can schedule reports stored on the Report Server to be sent as email attachments in one of the available formats to the subscribed users. For more detailed information, check Scheduled Tasks Management help article in Report Server online documentation portal.

    2. Reports stored in Report Server can connect to SQL database via SqlDataSource component which needs to be configured when designing the report in Standalone Designer tool shipped together with Report Server.
For more detailed information, check Working with Report Server Reports help article.
Report can display specific data based on the report parameter value - check Filter DataSource records for more details.

I hope this information will help.
